The CE approved The Millennium Matrix® Stent, Sirolimus Drug and fully biodegradable polymers coating. It has drug Sirolimus, which has dual mechanism of action, regulates inflammatory cell function, blocks smooth muscle cell proliferation. The Millennium Matrix® Coronary Stent: • The unique design and strut locking mechanism offers excellent radial strength and minimum recoil even with thinner strut. • Smooth surface, round edges and thin struts of stent minimizes vessel injury and obliging in reduces thrombus formation incidence.   Therapeutic Agent-Sirolimus: • A cytostatic drug that has potent immunosuppressive and antiproliferative properties. • Inhibits expression of key cytokines necessary for the smooth muscle cell proliferation from the G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle. • As a part of a DES system, Sirolimus targets the very cause of ISR, proliferating vascular smooth muscle cells, arresting their proliferation.
